Boost to wine tourism
Gaintza has grown up generation after generation, as part of that evolution, in 2012, a beautiful hotel boutique and a new cellar were built beside the original cellar, which remains standing since 1923. The idea came from Nicolás, third generation member of Lazcano family, and the father of the fourth generation,
The aim? It is to promote wine tourism offering the guests the change to get close to the cellar, and to learn about traditon and production of txakoli , and of course the possibility to taste it.
